How can I get an older version of EmWi?

Description:

In some case a project might require to work with an old version of the EmWi Software. This could be if a customer is not willing to make a tool update because he is close to the mass production.

Solution:

Due to many new features, usability improvements and also some bugfixes, we strongly recommend a general update of the EmWi Software always to the latest version. The latest EmWi Software can be downloaded for free from our download center.

In the past we faced some broken dongles with version 4.xx. Therefore (since V5.00 in November 2007) we changed the access to the decryption module which solved this Hardware related problem from our supplier. Please note if you are using older SW than version 5.xx, a dongle replacement can not be covered by warranty even for new dongles.

If you nevertheless need an older version of EmWi, please contact the EmWi support. Then we will setup a temporary FTP account for you and provide the required version there.
