SVG Support for Crisp, Scalable Graphics
With Embedded Wizard 14, you can now use SVGs (Scalable Vector Graphics) to create crisp, scalable images that maintain their quality regardless of size or rotation. SVGs are ideal for memory-efficient graphics and applications requiring flexible, high-quality visual assets. Whether you’re updating logos or adding complex icons, this new feature helps you optimize both visual appeal and resource usage, all while avoiding the limitations of bitmap-based images.
Unparalleled Font and Text Management
Embedded Wizard 14 introduces more flexibility in font and text handling. You can now dynamically scale font sizes with the new FontSet, ensuring optimal display across languages and devices. The ability to manage overlapping glyphs makes localization easier, enabling different languages (e.g., Chinese and Japanese) to share the same character codes without conflicts. Furthermore, new warnings for text overflow allow for proactive adjustments, ensuring translations always fit within the allocated space. This combined flexibility and control streamline the process of adapting your GUI for a global audience, all while reducing potential errors.
Flexible Resource Management
With our new Blob file support, you can store constants and resources outside the core application binary. This means you can update resources — such as logos, text, or even language packs — without needing to rebuild the entire application. This feature greatly speeds up processes for OEM customizations, multi-region deployments, and theming updates, saving both time and resources while keeping your core code intact. Furthermore, this flexibility also benefits customers who need to swap out content (like logo changes or localization updates) without modifying the main application, making it easier to adapt to changing requirements after the application is deployed.
In addition, the new Export/Import tool provides greater flexibility for managing project assets. This feature allows you to export and import project data using external tools, streamlining the integration of external resources or third-party tools into your development workflow. This makes the entire development process more efficient, especially for large projects requiring frequent updates or collaboration with external teams.
Rich Visual Effects with Advanced Color Gradients
Embedded Wizard 14 introduces support for complex color gradients, including linear and radial gradients, allowing you to create vibrant, multi-stop gradients for backgrounds, buttons, and more. With up to 256 color stops in a single gradient, this adds depth and sophistication to your UI — perfect for modern applications that require complex transitions and subtle visual details.
