“Surgical Innovation is our Passion” – this is the promise KLS Martin has pursued in surgery since 1923. And in the field of surgical lights, the new marLED®-X series sets new standards in terms of functionality and usability. In addition to the familiar parameters such as color temperature, light intensity or light field size, the innovative LED technology now also allows to set individual light field geometries. Even the surgeon’s shadow can thus be faded out due to Active Shadow Management. All this is rounded off by the functional operation via the touch-sensitive control unit marTouch® Pro, which allows to set all parameters individually in the shortest possible time and in a self-explanatory manner.
Several of the mobile marTouch® Pro units can be used in combination with surgical lights, monitors and cameras to ensure perfect lighting control from any position in the operating room. This control unit is based on a durable, robust and reliable technology and still guarantees best usability. KLS Martin opted for a lean embedded system platform with Embedded Wizard as GUI technology and brought on board a team of experts for user interfaces with our GUI Services.
